Our Company
1977: Edward H.Chang founded O’Leer as a construction distribution center in his hometown of Xing-Ying, Taiwan.
1984: Decision was made to convert O’Leer into a footwear workshop, handcrafting ladies footwear for the domestic, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore markets.
1987: O’Leer began to mass produce for the European Market.
1992: Due to demand, O’Leer expanded its mass production to district 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (two production lines,1700 employees, annual production capacity of 1.5 million pairs)
1996: Two additional lines were established, 1500 more employees were hired, increasing annual production capacity by 1.5 million pairs.
2002: O’Leer Industrial successfully reunited its Taiwan Headquarter and Vietnam Mass Production in Song Than II industiral Park, centralizing all its core business in one location (covers 65,000 square meters, facility covers, 58,000 square meters, 4 mass production lines, 3,000 employees, annual production capacity of 2,5 million pairs).
2004: Product development workshop was set up in Dong Guan, China.
2007: O’Leer’s facility now house 6,000 employees with an annual production capacity of 4,000,000 pairs (6 mass production lines, 4 short deveplopment production lines).
2008: Became a member of SATRA
2010: Two more mass production line added
